Well, not the planes or the millions owed to creditors but some of the random things around the office.
Apparently, A320 stairs to deplane, airsick bags, pillows and other useful items were auctioned off in an earlier sale

When Ansett went under, my ex hubby and I were one of about 20 who "invested" in skywest which was spun off by the liquidators. Always glad we did. My XH, did all the numbers on the assets and reckoned that we would not go down too far even in a firesale, due to the value of the aircraft, etc. Our naighbour, a supposed big wheeler couldn't believe we invested over $100k in that, but we felt it was our duty. We sold out a few years later. I think it was Singaporeans who ended up wih it at that point. We made nothing, but knew that air service in the northern WA regional areas was crucial. It is sad to see airlines go under.
I flew strategic once and was very impressed. When the entertainment system on the flight to Bali went down, it was a free open bar. Even an AM flight with WA folks could send an airline broke with free grog.
