Need Help for Max RAM for Acer Nitro 5 Laptop

Got this new Acer AN515-57-79U4 laptop,

It says max ram is 32gb, it’s i7-11800h with hm570 chipset. I am not sure if 32gb x 2 will work? As I have seen some people managed to run similar rig with 32 x 2.

Also wondering is the pcie m2 slot gen 3 or gen 4

  Run the Crucial App and it will tell you Max Ram…

  Download/Run https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html for pcie Slot info.

    FYI as much as I love crucial DDR4 ram, their compatibility finder is misleading, and providing wrong information from time to time. I guess its fair enough that they probably could just refund the ram if they sold it wrong.

  One slot is Gen 3 and the 2nd slot is Gen 4 - friend has the new Acer Nitro Laptop but the 3050 version

    Did you mean the other way around? Primary slot gen 4 and secondary gen 3?

      You maybe right, when my mate replaced the drive, the original Gen 3 drive was in the Gen 4 slot.
