Am generally a fan of soundpeats… This listing is certainly a cause for concern

Most / all of the Amazon reviews are for Dudios, likely this one:
    https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/dudios-shuttle.23970/

Amazon reviews (from 2020!) and listing (2019!) also pre date when the H2 was released… Which I gather was around Nov 2021

    • those amazon reviews were from different model

Which is exactly what I am saying

Anyone considering buying should not rely on the Amazon reviews, perhaps consider this review from PickyAudio (or your usual favourite YouTuber)

Yep I was a fan of their products, but they've lost me as a customer due to the seemingly wilful mixing up of positive reviews from other products.

That and my truengine (awesome sounding as they are) just wouldn't stay in my ears. And my other soundpeats refuse to disconnect automatically even when in the case. AMR has been fantastic with after-sales support, but I just can't be stuffed any more.

Now using airpods….there's no question they sound really meh in comparison, but they far surpass the soundpeats in every other way, for an iPhone user.

And yes, I'm aware there's a huge price difference, but for me the almost 100% dependability of the airpods means I won't go back.

I don't think they mixed up by Soundpeats, they were from Amazon.

        • Amazon reviews on a product listing are linked to the ASIN / product ID (‎in the case of the OP product, B09FPWTGXP).

So unless there are some serious glitches at Amazon's end for AMR's products for some reason, I'd say the apparent duplicity originates at AMR, and not Amazon.

          • @andresampras: They've been called out on this a few times and as far as I have seen, (AMR) have done nothing to fix the issues.

I'd say the apparent duplicity originates at AMR, and not Amazon.

I am not sure but I found that some other product reviews have similar issue.

            • @superforever: Sometimes it's confusing when a listing has multiple variants on the same listing, but you can restrict the reviews:

              • scroll down to very bottom of page, and click 'see all reviews'
              • on the drop-down filters, click on 'All formats'; this will let you choose the specific variant you are looking for.
          • @andresampras: No, this happens for heaps of products on Amazon. There will be reviews for different versions (products) mixed up, like Huawei GT2 Pro reviews are mixed up with GT2 and GT2e.

      • Same experience with the truengine (3). The biggest tips still wouldn't stay in my ears & also the bulge of the design caused pain in one ear (less than an hours' use). I returned them. Not a fan of touch controls either.

The Sonics fit me the best, sound great, long battery, but are the worst for work/teams calls…

I generally use the TrueFree 2s for work calls but also bought the HD35s recently and these are great also (for calls)…

As an Android user, I have no plans to buy Apple gear 🤣

        • I really wish i could get the truengine to fit well, because the audio quality is fantastic to my ears.

I even looked into buying some Comply tips etc. but they cost a fair amount and there was no guarantee the buds would fit in the case and charge properly with the new tips.

          So I gave up.

  • I own the TrueDots, TrueEngine2, Air, and Air2.

    Love them all.

The only downside is weak bluetooth antennas; but it just means i need my phone is my side, not my back pocket.

  • How is the call quality? Is it able to isolate voice in a noisy environment? Planning to use it for work/teams calls. Can anyone please share their experience?
