So I've got a couple of Amazon items that need to be returned for various reasons. Ok, printed the labels out as per usual, stuck them on and truck them to my local PO.
The guy at the PO couldn't scan the QR code for whatever reason then proceed with scanning the normal-looking barcode. Didn't bothered to check untll now with 4 parcels in total and 3 of them ended up with the same tracking number. I thought that's odd. Tracked it on AusPost site, looks like there's some issue somewhere as both tracking numbers have literally over a 100 'Received by Australia Post' entries.
I suspect someone's going to have an interesting new year at Amazon…
Why? The tracking being odd isn't magically going to make 200+ parcels come into existence that they have to deal with.
It is also possible to have multiple items per tracking number. It should say parcel number of 3 on the printouts. :)
How long do Amazon take to process returns once it's back at their post office box? I've never had to return anything before to them.
