These JB plans all of a sudden don't look as good compared to the Samsung Trade Up deals

Haven't seen any deals on a Pixel 6 Pro. Hope boxing day sales have it on special.

    • Best deals were pre-order (as is usually the case for the first 3 months or so of a phones release I've found).

You got $150 google credit, + another $130 credit if you subbed to the 2TB google one plan for a month ($12.49 outlay). So $280 credit to use on the Google store.

That got you pixel buds A and a pixel stand if you got the buds in the recent sale.

Or buy from Telstra and its only $999 outright not $1227.

And you get a bonus Fitbit Sense smartwatch via redemption (RRP $449)

Go the Boost 12 month sim 140GB for $200 also.

    • That’s an ozbargain

    • Great deal! I've just checked Telstra site and it asks me for a Telstra ID. Is it possible to buy it without being a Telstra customer?

      • +1

        In store?

        • "Buy the Google Pixel 6 on an eligible plan and get a bonus Fitbit Sense Smart watch"

I'm not sure if they'll sell it without a plan

          • +1

@vrsac: Looks like you can. Got to the checkout without adding the plan.

            • @intruhvurted: It turned out that I had an old Telstra ID that I forgot about. After a credit check, I was allowed to check out and order the phone.

You can create one with a Telstra or Boost sim ($2 burner sim?) and you can choose to purchase outright - not on a plan

I feel my money burning a hole in my pocket..or is that just my Cockburn - I'll see myself out.

    • Maybe both… Depends on what massage place U got that happy ending from n how much U paid 😂

  • +3

Online or have to come (mod: spelling) in store to collect

    • +5

I don't think U will be allowed to get it going or to atleast finish in store in time 🤣

    • +1

I prefer to pay cash myself, but I don't mind putting on a show if the staff insist on it 🤣

  • Is there an end date for the deal? And, is the $600 gift card for the 256GB model? What is the value of gift card for 128GB model?

    • +2

Ends tomorrow, think the gift card is the same value, though not 100% sure

      • Thanks The Hobo. Will skip it now and see if there is a better offer on Boxing day

  • +1

Can someone tell me what this $600 gift card is about?

    • That's how they cover the cost of the phone as part of the deal.
$999 base price of phone - $600 gift card = $399 you pay

      • -1

        I see

Would ETC be discounted? Or they don't do that anymore

  • Optus has it for 100$ less

    • where?

      • Optus website —? Deals

        NSW

    • They don't sell a 256GB model, only 128GB

  • Can you take advantage of this offer if you are already a Telstra registered postpaid member?

    • This is a port or new service only offer

    • You can try to sign up with a new number, then ask Telstra chat to transfer your old number across to the new plan.

  • Anyone knows if they are having a $500 GC with port ins over a $59/69 telstra plan for today??

  • Managed to get a $10 p/m port in credit to Telstra as well, bringing it down to $59 a month

    • How'd you go about doing that? I was under the impression they cracked down on people trying to get the $10 credit

      • Just requested as well.

"Thanks for staying connected. I see there is no credit for port in. I have provided with any reference number we will be able to provide the credit."

Probably will try my luck again later with another operator.

      • Asked for $15, said the JB HIFI person said so.

They said they can do 10… Took it and ran
