More powerful Nutri Bullet 600w Replacement - Bullet style or upgrade to Blender Style?

Just had my nutri bullet 600w die on me after a few years of faithful service.

I mainly do smoothies with frozen fruit and veg and it seems those frozen spinach cubes have done the damage this time.

Does anyone have any feedback on using some of the more powerful models?

Or do i need to upgrade to an actual "blender"? I wouldn't mind doing so, but it has to support those big plastic cups – I'm not interested in dealing with the heavy, bulky hard to clean glass blender jugs.

I'm considering the "nutribullet® Blender Combo" which does seem to come with the drink cup.

Open to spending between $100 to $300 depeding on features.

We have the 900w one (https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/nutribullet-900w-mega-pac…). Had it for about 2 years now and make smoothies with it almost daily and works like a charm. Mainly frozen fruits, ice etc…

We also have a more traditional blender (https://www.appliancesonline.com.au/product/sunbeam-blender-…) which we had since before we got the nutribullet but since we got the smaller one we rarely use it anymore.

Mainly due to convenience we use the smaller one, so easy to clean and can drink straight from the cup.

    • thanks - I'm a little dubious about just how powerful the 900w would be over the 600w i had preivously - looks to be the same body and all.

the true test for me as i mentioned are those spinach blocks which are harder than ice - how does it fair to them?

I've had one of these Ninjas for about 6 months which is awesome. I haven't used another blender before, but it's LOUD.

  • you eat raw frozen spinach cubes ?

i thought it says on the box that products must be cooked before consume

    • welp, you're right. I've never noticed that to be honest and have been eating em raw for years…

  • hard to clean glass blender jugs.

Hard to clean glass jugs ?

    • yeah those big glass blender jugs that weight a ton and the blades can be hard to clean.

the simple plastic cup with the separate blades is way easier to clean for me.
