Product Information:

Even if you're just getting started on guitar, there's no reason that you can't get into the ESP family right away with the EC-10. A great instrument for beginning electric guitar players, the EC-10 has a smooth, comfortable, thin U-shaped maple neck that will make it easier to get around to chords and scales all over the fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets. It has a well-balanced and contoured basswood body that's good for playing while seated or standing. When you're ready to rock, the EC-10's ESP Designed LH-100 pickups are great for any genre of music you like to play. It also includes a gig bag case, making it easier to get to lessons and friend's houses. For learning, jamming, songwriting and more, the EC-10 is a terrific choice that you can afford today.

  • I can't see ltd could do this cheap in my life. Made in Indonesia or China?

    • EC-10 is Made In China

      • No other country in the world can beat China to make you a product at the lowest price, I think.

    • Not sure about this one. But the bass I have, and the one I bought from JB last year from an OB deal were made in Vietnam. The build quality looks quite good to me.

    • These guitars are made in China.

      • Any deals on Bass?

  • That is cheap!

  • Can't really go wrong at this price…even better if you can visit the store and check out the guitar personally. If the build is OK it's ripe for a mod (pickups).

    • The only thing I'd say to this is that I've done this experiment. Albeit with LTD vipers. I have a viper 400 and I thought, hey, lets stick some duncan distortions in a viper 10 and see what it is like. And it is okay - but the fretwork on the 400 is vastly superior to the 10, so if you're handy and can maybe file them down, it would be a good job - but there's no real way I'd ever play that viper 10, versus the 400 because the frets aren't anywhere near as good

  • I have an EC-50 with upgraded active pick ups, what would that fetch second hand? It's been about a decade since I've been in the music world and need to clear some old stuff. I assume the EC-10 is a lower grade variant?

    • +1

Can't say for sure, but I guess 200-300. You'll be sort of pressed up against someone getting a new ec-10 and someone getting a used ec 256. Upgraded pickups depends on the pickups and the fact they are active might play against you (although an EC with EMGs might be a novelty to someone).

This or a 64 Fender Stratocaster in classic white, with triple single-coil pickups and a whammy bar?

I'd raise the bridge, file down the nut, and take the buzz out of the low E

  • How is this compared to the Artist Lp6 for $179.10?

    • That one is sold out

  • If you have any deal like this or you lag one but around $1500-$2000 let me know or just post Ill check it out
