A decent deal for 8tb Ironwolf drives. They've been as low as $279 from memory, so these aren't far off.
Great for a NAS.

  i ordered an internal HDD from Amazon, it was packaged in a thin padded envelop that could fit at least dozens of the boxes the HDD was in.

  So ymmv with the packaging (at least mine were appalling), and that may cause problems down the line.

    … I'm not following your first sentence. One moment you say it came in a thin padded envelope, then you refer to the envelope being able to fit dozens of boxes … That the same hard drive was in? Or that some other drive was in?

      As in, the box is what the HDD would come in. A small box that would hold an 3.5 inch HDD. That was inside a padded envelop that's way way big for a single box that size.

  thanks @OP ordered one with in Amazon box, so hope it has good padded packaging & drive is good
  as some above said about packaging issue.
