Please stop - I got enough Lamy pens.
You might have to Lamy chop for a while
If you have enough Lamy pens, surely one more wouldn't hurt?

dang, missed out. I have a mont blanc, but i am keeping that in my home office. I need one to bring to work that i can leave at my desk. i don't feel safe leaving my mont blanc at work.
what ink is good? i just got the mont blanc ink because i have a mont blanc pen, but i know there're alternatives that are properly a better value.
Maybe this Faber Castell fountain pen?
Faber-Castell Ergonomic Grip 2011 Fountain Pen, Gold Edition ā Medium, (40-140927) https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07YMPHHC7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_gā¦
Good option, I am considering. Thanks.
thank you, i ended up getting the black one. Not a big fan of gold unless its real gold, and that would probably cost a fortune. i didn't know FC made fountain pens, i think i am going to also pick up the matching pencil later.
Iām the same as you. The gold looked a little cheesy and I liked the black one - and I too had no idea Faber Castell made fountain pens. Glad my suggestion helped. š
Waterman's Serenity Blue is a very nice everyday ink - https://mountainofink.com/blog/waterman-serenity-blue
It tends not to bleed through paper as much as others.
It's $8 at Peter's Of Kensington at the moment but only goes for around $12 usually on Amazon - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/254694946868
thank you, it looks great. i ordered it. are these hard to clean out or get gummy if not used consistently? i heard a lot of the cheaper inks clog pens and hard to clean it out with just water and need bleach or something to clear them out.
It's a very reliable ink despite the cheap price, it's considered by many online as a beginner-friendly ink. I doubt it will get gummy unless you leave it in a pen for years - I've neglected some cheaper pens for well over a year leaving it in it and they still clean out without much trouble. Waterman is also one of the original founding fountain pen companies so they have over 130 years of experience at this point in fountain pens and ink.
I think it's usually the iron gall or permanent, pigmented inks that give pen cleaning a bad reputation, or people using transparent demonstrator pens changing colours (ink often stains the plastic on the inside and gives it a slight tint).
Nice, that brings it to within lamy safari pricing
