Incredible Service from Amazon

This is not the first time I've had this service from Amazon - Bought a Black Friday item, sent out a few days later - 2 weeks go past, no shipping updates, I ask Amazon and they processed my refund in the next 2 days. Another week passes - the item shows up today, I ask Amazon what to do, they send me a prepaid shipping label, i try to send it and its not valid somehow, I ask them again and they ask me to to keep the item (!) They've already refunded me for it remember.

Incredible. Well played Amazon!

  • Better be careful, this happens too many times and they will ban you.

    • I think the time frame between issues makes a significant difference. I've been using Amazon for 18 years and have had numerous missing parcels, damaged items and warranty claims over that time without issue. Those that find themselves banned seem to have frequent issues in relative short periods of time.

  • I've had a few items from amazon free with refund. Some of them in the $4-500 range. I buy loads of stuff there though. I love the cheap and cheerful nature of the site, can just let my inner consumer run wild and buy buy buy.

      • Amazon will get their money from Auspost.

        • Probably true- I'm sure they have insurance for all the stuff they send
