Nice finds - repco has some good clearance gear IF you get lucky enought o have instock near you.

I've taken to using DOT5.1 in my car - its often cheaper than the DOT3/4's but superior product - think folks misunderstand what they can/should use. 5.1 is substituteable for 3/4 but DOT5 is NOT.

Just be aware if you're buying the 4L bottle, it's not stuff you're recommended to open and store, as absorbs water which makes it useless. 2 person bleeding your brakes is super easy job - though tricky to stimulate the ABS system unless you have some tech gear but still well worth it.

For those who buy brake fluid in plastic bottles, be mindful that water ingression happens the moment they are shipped. I assume these are cheap because they want to clear a few overstock bottles.

  • $9 seems good, but why do I actually need 9x 10mm sockets?
Especially when they (one per set) are included in the 3 sets (each size socket set listed above) I already have?

I don't recall using 10mm any more or less than the other sized sockets in each set.

Go on, show us your 10mm socket, bet you can't find it.

      • lol πŸ‘πŸ»
        ordered.

Edit: ordered 5. Stocking filler for mates. Worst case scenario, can just ping them at each other at the pub.

    • Oh please, everyone uses 10mm more often than others. And 10mm sockets get lost all the time so it won't hurt to have a few spares :)

    • It's not so much about needing that many 10mm sockets, depending on what you are fastening and where it is located, you may not be able to get a Β½" drive in there, hence needing to resort to β…œ" or even ΒΌ" drive.

  • Amazing Value…. I can never find my 10mm… lolz… 3 x 1/2" drive ones alone are worth more than the deal price.
