Anyone good optical/glasses online shops are doing good promotions on prescribed frames and glasses? I had a look at specsaver and there is no good promotions (I don't really need 2 glasses). Just need to use my health fund rebates and get a new pair of glasses. My current one is 3 years old.
Any Online Optical Websites Doing Good Promotion on Prescribed Glasses?

Looks like they only have free delivery promo at the moment
You might want to login to your health fund and check your member offers. NIB for example, is offering their customers $125 off frames till february.
Just go specsavers. 1 normal, 1 sunglasses.
It's a bit restricted as some options are not available online and the website keeps telling you to go into a store to continue.
When you're buying them just to use rebates, need to ask if that's value? Especially when car associations get 25% off everyday at SpecSavers
Yeah I have free NRMA Blue membership and it has 25% off on glasses. However you gotta go to their store to redeem the offer.
eyebuydirect
Don't buy from eyebuydirect as they do not have health fund rebate option.
Buying online is a bit of a lottery. Loads of people say Zenni is fantastic, but my experience is quite the reverse. I've bought from them twice. The first time the frame fell apart (snapped) within 4 months. The second time I couldn't see anything through the lenses. I complained, but never got anywhere. Cheap and nasty rubbish from PRC I'm afraid.
There are a few reasonable online companies based in AU where you can claim your full optical rebate if you have private health cover for it. Ausspecs is one, but there are others. I haven't used any of them for a few years now as my experience with online buying has been mixed at best.So your buying glasses without eye test?
I have done the eye test last week
I've heard good things about Zenni, but never tried them, so I can't personally recommend them.
