    These are brilliant.. They pop up now and again on Catch of the Day but not at this price!!

    I have given the mini version as a present but reportedly it's too weak to hold anything but a micro-compact..
    For a larger Compact like mine with large optical zoom and SLR cameras, the large tripod is the one to get..

    The only con to owning one is that you'll forget to take it sometimes!
