Description

Set a few years after the horrifying events in the critically acclaimed Resident Evil 7 biohazard, the all-new storyline begins with Ethan Winters and his wife Mia living peacefully in a new location, free from their past nightmares.       My girlfriend absolutely hates horror games/movies but her watching me play RE7 got her interested enough to play Village. It's a really solid game and at this price is pretty neat.

          Village took the best elements from 4 and 7 and put them into one game.
          RE series wouldn't be as big a franchise if they hadn't evolved past fixed camera angles (which were a product of their time to be honest).
          If you like the original RE games then I recommend Tormented Souls, it's a modern take on the original RE and a bit of Silent Hill in there as well.

    It's a great game but from someone that grew up with the franchise..
    but this is in no way a true Resident Evil
    title in the sense and more like a first person departure and spin-off

        I liked Resident Evil 2 and 3 remake better myself as they stay true to the games roots…

          I also preferred RE1-3 myself. I don't usually like first person games, but 8 was okay, and IMO better than 7.
