Original Coupon Deal

Price is up $2.49 from yesterday, still a good deal.

Not sure why someone my post from yesterday as expired when the price went up slightly instead of just editing the title to reflect the new price??

Normal rrp appears to be ~$50 so its still a pretty good deal

anyone know a good smart charger to use with these

    • +1

get littokala charger from the local seller "lanplus" on ebay, it has a readout showing how much charge has gone into the battery as well as full discharge function. I have the Lii-500s model, affordable and very good, charges the newer 18650 sized batteries which are bigger sized than AAs.

  • holds up to 85% sounds a bit funny to me.

After 12 months time has passed they will retain at least 85% of their full charge. This is important because some lower quality rechargeables will lose charge as time goes on and then when you go to use them they will be flat. So eneloops hold a significant amount of charge without drain for a long period of time.

  • Received a package with insufficient postage paid, anyone else on the same boat?

    • Still waiting for mine!

Had an issue before from a different delivery.

I have to claim it from the post office.
Aust Post wont let me claim my package until I pay for the remaining fee.

I ask further why this happen:
      — AusPost told me that it has beena practice of sellers/senders to under pay the postage by using smaller packaging or cheapest stamp compare to the items actual size and "weight"

AUpost showed me the weight of my package was hevier for the postage fee paid by the sender.

If there is information about the sender on the package, they will try to reach out to the sender for the the insufficient postage or return it.

In my case there was no sender information so I was asked to pay for it and chase the seller.
I was told it is common, sender will intentionally not put their details on the parcel.

I complain to the seller and without any ifs and butts, i was asked to pay for it and he will refund rather than ask for refund or give a bad comment which will cause more.
I guess this time the seller's parcel was filtered by AusPost and it seems seller knows about this practice by their response and did not even dispute my claim.

AusPost told me that it is a common practice for sellers to underpaid the postage by using smaller packaging or buying cheapest stamp according to the weight and size.

AusPost cannot filter all, but they do random checks and able to flag some of them.

      • Thanks, I contacted the seller and he kindly reimbursed me for the shortfall.

    • Same here. $3.55
Building management put the parcel in mailbox anyway. I might have to ask if they had to pay something which they'll charge me back
