    I have not compared to CD style.
    However, I had one of these Baseus dashboard clips, and it worked really well with an iphone se.

    Hi jughead101, I have searched all the versions we have, now the gravity vent wireless holders only have 6.5 inch phone size max, you can try a Magnetic Wireless Charger Phone Holder.

  I have tried both the cd holder style and the dashboard clamp on. The clamp is terrible, it tends to push its own out once the plastic is loosen up after a few days. If your dashboard edge is thick, smooth and tapered like mine then it wont work

  Would recommend the CD holder style, much more stable. I've been using it for the past year and it's still stay on there

    the only issue i have with the CD holder that i have, is that it blocks the reversing camera screen
