Just want to share that I bought the Trek 900 70L+10L backpack a few weeks ago for $280 regular price (no sale). The price now is $374 which feels a little like the intention is to take 25% off which brings it to… $280.50.

If you're after this backpack then would it make sense for this sale to end, or will it permanently be 374 or 499 now?

      yikes a price jack.

      • Inflation is a b1tch..am I right

    • oof, that looks like a hefty price jack, which seems odd for decathlon.

The old pricing lines up reasonably well with decathlon in other countries, none of them are as jacked up as this. If that was my budget I probably wouldn’t have even loaded up Decathlon I’d be on places selling osprey and the like.

    Hi All,

In business, it is often necessary to reevaluate our pricing structure for particular items, in accordance with price increases along the chain of production and supply. Here in Australia we've chosen to mainly stock our own "passion brands" meaning we conceive and manufacture all of our products in-house, but we sadly don't control things such as shipping or material costs, and need to compensate as a result of these costs increasing.

For this reason, it is sometimes necessary to increase the price of one of our products, purely so we can continue to operate as a company, and provide our customers with the quality service we've promised for years to come. At the moment, a lot of these increases are an unfortunate side effect of COVID-19. Even with COVID almost behind us here in Australia, our worldwide supply network is still behind causing us a lot of delays with new stock. We do try our best to still offer competitive prices but sadly, once the price has increased we cannot price match to the old price.

    Hope you understand the situation.

    Cheers!
