maybe higher cashback for Amazon but its the same for eBay

  • Seems like a decent offering to me. I'm considering it, although I can get WW/Coles 1% cheaper through HCF at the moment, but I'd use Bunnings/eBay/Amazon

    • 3% off at eBay seems to be the pick, hard to get them

  • My reading of the email is that the 3% goes towards your Rewards Balance which you can’t access until it reaches $20.

    • "…earn 3% of the value of your Gift card towards your Rewards Goal. Redeemable when you reach the Rewards goal. Promotion ends 17/12/2021."

So minimum spend (@ 3% cb) is $666.67 it seems…

      • Yeah I was waiting for them to repeat it for Vic and other states residents once they opened up but nope, no deal so far!

    • im waiting for this!

      • i guess unless they announce it for xmas eve , and let it run out to 31st…

And I'd give up bargain hunting if you can't beat 3% on AMZ and EBay with what on offer now .

Especially when stacking with random c/b offers etc I just CBF if its <10%.

Isn't the standard discounted GC rate on Amazon 3% at the various rewards portals eg. Suncorp Benefits?

  • Prezzee gift cards are regularly 5 percent. Either buy $200 for $10 off or $100 for $5.

I've got heaps of these which can be traded for Bunning or Amazon.

    Zip Fizzed out.

Currently thereare Christmas $200 for $10 off running.

  • Need to spend at least $666.67 to get the cashback.

You can request a redemption of your Rewards equal to the Rewards Target once you have reached or exceeded the Reward Target.

    Current reward target is $20.

Zip cannot win the BNPL game. They'll be lucky to even survive - they've got nothing going for them. Need to sack and re-hire their marketing department.

    • The recent share price agrees with you. $4 up to $12, back to $.xx within a year. Ugly.

      • I wonder how many $8+ bagholders there are…

        • Obviously i meant $4.xx but can't edit now. There would be lots surely..

Somehow I find Zip’s virtual Visa card much more flexible than Afterpay’s one.

    • +3

Zip is the best IMO, as you have the option to not pay anything until the end of the following month.

Eg buy something December 1 and don't have to pay anything until January 31. You then pay that off with your credit card and it's like having 3 months interest free.

The other BNPL with fortnightly repayments is just an annoying gimmick.

Yeah zips is far more mature a product - but the consumers value simplicity more than function
