    Hmmm very bad review

Landfill material. Home refuse should be weighed at collection and charged per gram to household.

    high-quality sound

    Yeah nah.

    https://www.rtings.com/headphones/reviews/corsair/hs35:

The Corsair HS35 is an okay wired gaming headset. It has a comfortable, lightweight design, but a cluttered, boomy sound profile that also sounds sharp at times. Its microphone performance is decent overall, though, thanks to the excellent noise handling in particular, so it can still be an alright choice for first-person shooters or MMOs. If you want something with a simple design and don't want to spend a fortune, the HS35 could be worth considering if you're on a budget and not picky about sound.

Good price though - thanks OP.

A few reviews suggest issues around build and mic quality but for $19 it's a hell of a deal. Nice stocking stuffer, thanks OP.

Thanks OP - grabbed two because I don't know how my kids keep trashing every single set of headphones I give them. If these meet a similar fate, no biggie.

    • +5

How old are they? Make them pay for it through your allowance so they have to "work for it". Maybe that would get them to appreciate it better.

      • Yes Daddy .

      • +2

They have so much birthday and Christmas cash saved up that they wouldn't blink, so questionable life lesson value

I'll wait til they absolutely have to have the latest wireless in ear bud thingies because all their mates have them and then they can cough up their own dough and wear the consequences

        • Sounds like a plan. Don't bail them out when they do inevitably lose them.

        • +3

Same here, ditto water bottles, jumpers and sports equipment. Doesn't 't seem to bother when I make them pay for stuff they lose

    • This was my kid -every year I had to buy a new pair as the wire would be stuffed. Last year I bought wireless hyperx and they are still as new and going strong. So eventually they get better at looking after stuff.

Made buying a Xmas gift hard this year lol as headphones weren’t needed

For 20 bucks, I can finally trash talk in halo infinite.

      Hello there, fellow Navy SEAL

I missed that. What did you say? Something about my mother I think I heard.

  • I have a bit of an addiction to buying headphones. But if I buy these I'm just part of the landfill problem

  • Thanks OP. Couldn't resist at the price. They're replacing a Verbatim set my little one is currently using. Certainly gonna be better than those.

These proved great for remote learning (also for kids gaming). Reasonably durable. Cloth earpads are comfortable and don't get sweaty. Sound quality is not audiophile-grade and a bit thin for music; but ok for gaming and perfectly clear for classes. Microphones are good. Just enough sound isolation so kids don't get distracted; not so much that you can't hear your own voice (or parents telling you to get off youtube).
Biggest issue is they don't fold down so take up quite a bit of space in schoolbags. Apple earpods are more portable but less isolating, our kids much prefer these.
If this is your price range, go for it.

Reviews aren't glowing but they are reviews for it at full price.

For $19, these are probably pretty good.

    • Sound quality probably fine for $19 but it doesn't fall apart less if that's the problem. People are claiming they didn't get 6 months out of them with gentle use, and the modes of failure include the earpads coming off, and the mic mute button failing. Some flaws are just as bad at $19 as at full price.

  • Thanks, OP - got one for son's Discord.

  • landfill worthy

  • I have one of these. No good for audio quality, okay for fps gaming I guess

Ok for stocking/landfill filler I guess

  • For PC go with usb surround sound

  • Where am I seeing $19?

  • Thanks op, I’m pro landfill anyway these will make decent stocking stuffers/MS Teams headphones no one needs to care about

  • Looks like they price matched Harvey norman for anyone who missed out and still wants one for $19

OP.. maybe update the listing above.

    • Dont buy it. I bought 2 from HN when it first went on clearance and they are awful headphones, not even worth the $19. The sound is like you are underwater its beyond bad, wouldn't waste my money, if HN wasn't so far away from me I would have returned them
