Just a heads up for those people who have purchased the HX6232/74 2 pack at Costco, that they are actually selling a mislabeled and ?deceptively labelled product.
Bought these but was immediately suspicious when comparing them with our other ones which have failed. (NiMH)
Over the bottom of each toothbrush is a conveniently placed sticker over the NiMH plastic debossing. The outer packaging clearly identifies it as Li-Ion.
They come as a 2-pack so one pink and one black. The pink one is as-is pulled from the package with the sticker. The black one is post-sticker. Also opened it up to examine the innards.
So far no response from Costco. (aside from [we] ….have forwarded on to our Small Appliances buyers to follow up….]
Philips have sent me a seemingly canned response saying they want to collect them via Startrack and replace them. It looks like the same product line and I'm doubtful there will be any change.
Will most likely return to Costco, but wanted to warn those of you who bought these believing they were buying one thing.
People might argue that it's not a big difference, however there is a large difference in battery chemistry etc. I get that you can have errors in external packaging. But what I think is worse is that they put labels over the bottoms.

There is a huge difference between the Li-ion and Nimh Oral-B brushes. The Nimh ones basically need to be on charge all the time or they feel weak. The Li-ion about once a fortnight. Not the same brand, but likely there will be a difference.
