  • I bought it from Grays way back when it was originally posted. It then broke down after 4 months of minimum usage. I went to Dicksmith for repair. They were unable to fix it. Subsequently, I paid $60 extra and upgraded to a 3g version as they was not able to provide me with another wifi model, which was pretty awesome.

    • I will vote positive as it carries full warrenty, as advsied above. Ultimately I got a 3g version for the price of the wifi model.

      • Warranty: 12 months warranty from Dick Smith Commercial

I will vote positive as it carries full warrenty

        lol…

They all carry exactly the same warranty… read the specs on each link…

    • Should have just gone straight to Amazon. They're awesome with Kindle warranty. Mate of mine had a grey line down the side of his screen (only visiblein black-background pdfs/images). Amazon just sent him a brand new one, didn't even ask for the original back.

  • It feels like Amazon won't start selling the Fire in Australia until they've sold all their trade-in stock from the US to the gullible on the other side of the world.

    • Amazon won't start selling the Kindle Fire internationally until they work out LICENSING for videos and applications.

I had terrible shopping experience with Grays and would never deal with again. You can get it from BigW or Dick Smith.
