Just saw this posted. Now obviously its in the US, US stock, usual issues w/ warranty, …. but for this price might be worth trying to figure out a cheap way of getting them shipped to Australia (or figuring out how to do a Group Buy).

I've just looked at getting 5 of them shipped and ground shipping in the US is another $65 plus a freight forwarder fees. Price USA though looks like cheapest would be $254 on top!!

So buying 5 via Price USA would bring the cost to about $180 AUD each (still a hefty saving vs the cheapest local prices).

Details needed for shipping calculations :

Weight : 13.2 lbs (6 kg)
Dimensions : 21.07x25.90x26.67 cm (not sue if that is in the box or the server itself)

Anyone seen a cheaper freight forwarder for bulkier items that would cost less than $250 for 5!

    Obviously a Group buy would mean incurring postage costs on top within Australia aswell (unless group buy was limited to people in/around Brisbane who would pick-up)

      Approx. $20 each according to Aus Post (unless you know of a cheaper courier option).

      2 (assuming you could somehow attach them together and send as one item) would be about $30

    Based on discussions on slickdeals.net, looks like this is a pricing mistake and will not be honoured.
