Which Braun Shaver?

Hi,

Which Braun Shaver do people reccomend?
Have an 8 series for nearly 20 years, still works, but the old crack'n'sack is taking a hammering with it.

Currently using a Panaaonic 3 blade which is like playing russian roulette qith your sack and a trip to the ER.

Looking at these 2:

Though the dearer one mentions this: Made in Germany & designed to last 7 years.
The other does not.

I thought Braun 8 series is NEW. (They used to have 1,3,5,7 and 9)
If you find your Braun is 7 series, I think you will be happy to replace it with the Braun 7 series (Made in Germany, 5 years of warranty (up from 2 years)
Note: All 7,8, 9 shavers are designed to last for 7 years

The shavers are the same in the OP. The dearer one comes with the cleaning dock for $50.

Has fairly decent shaver reviews that tell you what the differences are.

Basically Braun sells lots of different packs with different addons but the same basic shaver. The series is the basic shaver that's included, but there is old and new versions of it that are different.

Both have the made in Germany logo above the price.

These are both the same units, just what comes with them is different, one has the cleaning 'dock' which is used to self clean etc, the other has a charging only stand.
