  • Looks like they fixed the price, bugger.

    • they're showing the same price for me. did you click on the link?

      • Yes mate, both ozb link and the description - white one still for $350 - not letting colours ruin a good bargain - cheers!

  • White still $350 looked like there was only 1 left of black

  • I paid double the price for these back in the day. Sounds decent, but can be uncomfortable on my head after an hour or so of playing. The easy swap out of the chargeable batteries are good. Taking phone calls while you're gaming is a cool feature, but I don't turn bluetooth on as I am way too distracted to talk to someone haha. Definitely do your research on these before throwing your funds into it.

  • I'd tentatively say they're worth it if you paid this price. Otherwise, I don't know - they sound fine but you're really paying for convenience – and even then they have downfalls. Plus there's no local support for replacements or servicing (I.e. new batteries). They expect you to buy unbranded batteries from no-name Amazon sellers.

    • +1

Ultimately you're paying for the convenience of wireless, and the feature set that works alongside that. Currently this reigns as one of the best wireless gaming headsets on the market, alongside the Astro A50 Gen 4s.

  • What I find sad is that these are still $350, and j paid $600 for a PS5.

Talk about robbery, and the fact I need an upgraded controller which are $300-350

Headphones + a controller cost more than a console which is ridiculous.

    • What controller costs $300-$350?

    • +1

you're not buying a console though. people buy soundbars that cost way more than their tv.

Consoles are sold at breakeven or even a loss.

$165 for the wired model which is $5 cheaper than it was in their Black Friday sales. I was looking for a new headset and ended up going with the Logitech G PRO X wired for $109. Can still get it for $116 from Amazon UK through Amazon AU for anyone interested.

bought this last june @ amazon for $376. first time owning premium a priced headphones.

The wireless is such a convinience especially if I want to watch movies or play on my PS5/XSX at night while the missus and the little one are sleeping.

Comfort wise its ok for me no complaints. Using it for 3-4 hours with no issues.

I also bought a used gamedac @ ebay for $50 tor listening to hidef music on my PC. I'm no audiophile but with the right EQ the sound is more immersive and detailed.

This will be my headphones for a long time.

  • Thanks OP been eye these for a while. Picked up a set in white

  • Thanks op!
Grabbed a white one still in stock.
Looking forward to giving them a go.
Big thing for me is the dual battery

  • Basically the same price as audezE penrose, hard to know which is better

Can't find a pair of Penrose for sale used, but there's a shitload of these for $250 Aus wide used.
