iPhone 4S 64GB, A Tick Aust Stock, $869 Delivered

100

I have just received this phone from the seller Ausluck on eBay. I can confirm it is Australian stock and the genuine article iphone 4s 64gig which has since been successfully registered with Apple. The phone came by express courier within 2 days from Melbourne to Adelaide.

The price has gone down since I bought it as of a week ago which was then $899. There is a 'make offer' option and based on the seller's feedback page, an offer of $850 was previously accepted so you could get it down to that or lower maybe?

Ausluck has 99.9% positive feedback 13130 transactions and has been an eBay member since 2005.

There is also a thread on Whirlpool regarding them: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1744170

They also have a website with same phone for $849, no idea about delivery (seem to need to register to find out). Anyway as above they're accepting offers of around that amount on eBay: http://ausluck.com.au/index.php?page=shop.product_details&fl…

Yeah iphones are not cheap, especially the 64gig models. But these guys seem to the best deal around ATM.

Anyway, I'm cough I mean my daughter's happy with it (but give me Android any day).

    I don't think this is a bargain!

Compared to SG s2, the Galaxy Nexus or any other high end Android phone certainly not, but it is a bargain compared to paying $999 for a 64gig 4s though Apple! And if it's gotta be an iphone, well…

True, but the above deal is Aussie stock with price inc delivery. Kogan's is a gray import from Hong Kong, delivery is $19 and it might take a while.

      • Although in sogai's defence, some people might not be in that much of a rush and a saving of $21 could mean a big deal, after all that is 2.4%! hahahah
After all it is an international warranty… or was that the iPad…

Anyway for an Australia stock and shipped iPhone this is a pretty good price.

If they're not in a rush they could also put in an offer of $850 to Ausluck. As per their eBay feedback someone's offer of that price was accepted. Who knows they might take $840?

says on the page "12 Month Worldwide Apple Warranty", plus they deliver with fedex so I don't think shipping will be an issue.
I didn't neg the deal because I realise this is for Australian stock and Kogan is not.

Just wondering how you confirmed this is Australian stock?

    • I was going to ask that too but found out after reading their site that pick up from their shop is offered.

Personally I will need to restrain from making any purchase now and wait for another 6 months for the new iPhone 5 which is expected to sell at the same launch price of iPhone 4s.

    • It's got an A-tick symbol on the outer packaging and electronically in the phone, found by going to: settings > general > about > regulatory

      A-tick: http://www.accesscomms.com.au/reference/comply.htm

The model number is MD260X/A, indicating it is Australian stock: http://www.applei.ph/one/component/option,com_kunena/Itemid,…

      • Ok good to know about the model number.

I bought mine in Hong Kong, it also has the A-Tick shown in the regulatory section, but the model number is MD261ZP.

        • Sorry I forgot to mention that it also states Australian and New Zealand above the A tick in the regulatory section.

        • I think A Tick is only used in AU/NZ. The HK phone says the same.

        • Looking at it again, all the relevant approval symbols for the markets the phone is sold, is in the regulatory section regardless of where the phone originated.

Anyway the model no on the phone I bought from Ausluck is Aussie and the A tick is on the outer packaging (no other approval symbols).

But at the end of the day, if the phone is warranted worldwide and you acquire a decent adapter or get a an Aussie iphone plug, it doesn't ultimately matter where the phone comes from.

  • Great bargain!

  • nice extra internal storage but price is too high compared to other smart phones.

this bargain relates to price of iphone, not choice of phone…
