Which Phone brand does Queen Elizabeth II use?

As one of the most influential, and most recognisable faces on the planet for the last 70 years, the Royal Family and no doubt the highest ranking member of the royal family requires a mobile phone, that is customisable and secure.

So, with these two features in mind, and not looking at any responses, vote for which brand that you think her Royal Highness uses?

    The Royal Pigeon

Challenging times with 2FA requiring responses in 60 seconds

    • Thats probably advanced as a certain brand, thats a bit slow off the mark.

She uses a Samsung according to the news, but then lots of older, less tech savvy or unfashionable people seem to choose Samsung over iPhone.

    • +3

Smart People use Smart Phones, the rest use IOS.

God it is easy to get you people to take the bait.

The queen probably has helpers/servants to operate a phone for her.

She probably doesn't even need to see or touch it.

Queen: Please put me through to Boris.
    Queen: Call Charles for me.

Q probably makes the phone for her.

  • Imagining Queen Elizabeth scolding her phone servants for doing the wrong thing has me laughing out loud.

'No, not that one, you daft git!'

FaceID - holds up a coin / note

      • FaceID error: Younger face not accepted.

  • her Royal Highness

Elizabeth II is addressed as Her Majesty, since she is the Queen.

  • Apple? Nah, obviously she would use Pears.

  • Corgi.uk

  • Gotta be between a huawei and a nokia 3210

May i ask why it bothers you or any general Australian person what Phone Queen of UK uses ?

Who the heck knows? And even if you find out what phone she uses, what you gonna do about that? Go on marketplace/black market and claim you selling your 2nd hand bought phone as a Phone "That queen of UK used" ? or what ?

May be she used Pablo Escobar phone ? or the a Chinese spyware phone?
Anyway I'd say she would have not really have a phone but someone else handle/manage a custom developed phone for her.

But, Did you ever wonder if she would even have time for phone usage?
As far as I am concerned I dont give a dam about Royal family or what they use or what they do as long as they don't affect me (Its not like they are my family or my finance that I need to look after, just a stranger to me as far as I am concerned),
    Just like this one https://www.bbc.com/news/av/world-australia-52915880

    She now uses Phillips.

    • +1

      Nah, that model is obsolete.

      • +3

She is probably aware that some of her family prefer younger models.

        • touché

        • At least ones that don’t have dead batteries.

  • Obviously it'd be the Royole.

  • She doesn't need a phone she is the phone.

  • I think the answer lies in one word in your post - secure.

I do not believe the Queen uses a mobile phone. The security implications would be horrendous. Security cannot be guaranteed on a mobile, but they no doubt have highly secure, and scrambled land lines to talk to each other.

People like to think that "the firm" is backward in many ways, but I for one don't think so. I'd be willing to bet that they have taken advantage of every modern innovation to keep ahead of the game. Furthermore, I strongly suspect their IT set up would be second to none. After all, they would have unfettered access to GCHQ for all their communications needs.

    What a dumb thread.

    • +1

Is that because you know the answer?

Complete phone silence in the royal house ever since Andrew got “exposed”.
    Queen uses a landline only
