Just noticed on my Suncorp app that Suncorp Benefits is switching off and that we can't purchase new gift card after 20th of January 2022. Where are some other places we can buy discounted gift cards?

Does anyone have a direct link to the Suncorp Benefits portal (the old one where we can download our gift cards)?
I realised my usual way of accessing it through One Suncorp and clicking the link on the right doesn't work, and visiting the website https://benefits.suncorp.com.au/ tells me to download the app!
Suncorp Benefits (through the app) can still be accessed, but there is nothing there. It does not offer any gift card or anything else now.

Unfortunately the Suncorp Benefits program has been closed down.
I have not heard anything about the new program that Suncorp was talking about in the emails notifying the close down of the old program.
Discounted Egift cards were a very good benefit.

I would have thought they would have the new one ready to go before closing the old one. Probably not a priority for them!

I have just been picking up GC whenever SB, NRMA/RACV, Special GC, various CC or debit cards or Prezzee has a special offer. Much better discounts.
Suncorp was good for Amazon & the occasional boosted cards with extra discounts (eg Rebel, EB Games, Target, JB) .
I'd rather an upfront discount than cashback & even though only 3% for Amazon, it was the highest (discount) I could get.

Just realised i have a gift card bought from suncorp benefits that i have not used up. I took screen shot i. Preparation. However did not realise the screenshot only has pin but not the gift card number itself. Anyone knows if suncorp can help or any other way to retrieve the gift card details ?

I’m guessing that it is a no. I asked about it and was referred to their credit card awards program, which is an entirely separate program that ran alongside this now defunct awards program.
My speculation is that when prepping for the suncorp and anz bank merger, they ceased this program because it was an additional cost. The merger was refused and now anz is appealing the ACCC’s refusal.
I doubt it would come back anyway.
