  My experience with these has been terrible, drops often and 1mbit upload speed

    You need to have another router as your main one and use these in bridge mode. There is a bug and these won't work standalone properly otherwise the upload is capped at 1mbps

    Works great for me. 400m2 single story double brick house. One on the left side of the house near the phone line and the second on the right in the bedroom. Covers the whole house including backyard with no dropouts. Ranges between 60-80Mbits on a 100Mbit connection so no complaints there. I have read concerns about security but I’m not fussed given it’s a cheap mesh solution.
