Pay for eBay item bought from SS store using reward points?

As the same ID on both your eBay & SS accounts are linked, is it possible to pay for an item bought from SS's ebay store listings using SS reward points? Do the ebay items show up in the SS acc. when logged in?

    Got a reply back from SS. It is actually possible. I asked this question because I vaguely remember something like this when I first bought & paid for an ebay item through the SS website back in '07 when SS was in its infancy (didn't have many points back then so didn't need this function).

    Now I can take advantage of those '6000 points' (essentially paid for with $6) from the 16gb sandisk cruzer deal to get a free or cheap ebay item & avoid SS bloated/overpriced shipping. Hope this helps anyone who comes across this in future.
