Half price Optus recharge

Went to 7eleven yesterday and the $30 recharge is no longer half price. Does anyone know where I can get discounted Optus recharge?

  I don't know what plan you've chosen, but if you recharge on the optus site, you can select as little as $5 or $10 recahrge.

I think Optus still do the ME2U thing - giving prepaid credit to another Optus prepaid number. So…get a friend to transfer $5 credit then give them $5 cash in exchange?

Wish I have friends who uses prepaid, but all are on cap plans.
And they are snobs who "Don't like wasting time just to get some freebies or small amount of money/giftcard". That's what they always say when I tell them about deals on ozbargain, he he.
