PCCG have some amazing deals on fans right now but I just can't justify buying from them for as long as they refuse to allow click and collect…

    • I agree, I would only justify the delivery If I were buying multiple items

PCCG delivery is farked. not worth it

Delivery cost is a joke from PCCG!

I used to be involved in the AU extreme overclocking competitions; so fans are something i used to nerd over hard…

    But these days; its simple.

UpHERE fans from amazon for case fans.
Noctua for any pressure requirements (industrial if noise isnt a concern).

I still follow all the reviews and tests; and the only thing that occasionally is value, is the sickleflow fans. But their price jumps around like a pogo stick.

    • Those uphere ones are actually decent? I always wondered.

Surely not as good as the ol ozbargain fav p12 PWM pst arctic

      • They honestly are pretty good. I have 3 sets in the house, as you can tell by the blade design they're pressure optimised.

Well, I actually think they're a mixed use design. Looks like a stolen sickleflow1 design (no complants if so! But im sure coolermaster feels differently…). Hell; they could even be 'Arctic' clones, looking at the blade design… anyway.

With 4 of them blowing through dust filters, I can feel the airflow up to 30cm away.

Id do propper testing if you're going to try and compete with them, because a single degree can be the difference between tjmax poweroff, and winning the comp, but for a 'normal use' computer?

My 5820k is running at 5ghz on all cores, and stays below 100c in a 30c room.

While there sure are better, there's no better value.

If i was pushing for more than 5ghz i might care, but thats enough of a jump from the Stock 3.6ghz for me.
Im not into the 'extreme' anymore, I just want the free performance left on the table :)

You didn't mention noise though lol

            @Dvbargain: Silent. Genuinely.

If I had to guess, i'd say they're 1600rpm fans at max. Imo, ideal for case fans.

A waterpump is still noisier than 5 of these at a preset 'standard' pwm curve.

And if i'm going to mine or game, and i lock them to maxrpm, yeah, they're wooshy, but its summer, and my pedestal fan is still louder.

Eh, its amazon, try them and return them no questions asked if you dont like them.
Or dont, im no affiliation, i just like a bargain.
