US Women's Shoe Size

Hi,

I want to buy my wife some shoes from shoebuy.com but I can't get a straight answer on converting Australian women's shoe sizes to US women's show size.

Half the conversions I find say that they are the same ie. Aus 6.5 = US 6.5. The other half say something different.

Can any shoe buyers give me a clue?

    I think 6.5AU = 6.5US but for women shoes, you really have to try them on.

      Thanks. Sending my wife to the US to try on shoes would earn me lots of points but it would cost a bit more than DHL. I think I'll just buy US 6.5 and if they're wrong we can always ebay them or give them away.

        If its a well known international brand, you could visit some shoe stores and get her to try it.
