Here is one interesting week for Apple! They have also released their latest LED-back-lit Santa-Rosa based MacBook Pro with Core 2 Duo 2.2-2.4 GHz this week, and dropped the price at the same time so it starts at $2,899. Except if you are a student (or know a student), you can get a massive discount at $2599.

And $2599 is how much I have paid for my iBook 4 years ago, with dog slow 900Mhz G3, 128MB RAM, 30GB Harddisk, 12" crappy screen, no wireless, no DVD burner, plastic shell… How things have changed.

Back to the tone of competition. Last week I said that I have got some free web hosting and free domains to give away. Someone asked me about it and I said that I'll get people to play some online Flash games and let the best gamers win. Initially I was going to use the Desktop Tower Defense (something I've wasted too much time on personally), as it lets you record a score against a group.

Except this week this story got dugg, which pretty much ruins my plan.

Let's forget about the flash games :) I am still having an almost-idle VPS sitting in Los Angeles begging to be used. I tried to give some away but as far as I can see most people just park their accounts here.
