I've wondered about this. I love Squad game play, and I love the WW2 setting, but it's all for naught if nobody is playing. Plus, HLL is kicking goals. Is it completely dead or just restricted to a couple of servers?
I haven't played for a few months, but when I was playing the game ARR had a full server fri/sat/sun. 80players and a decent queue from about 7pm-11pm.
The game is a bit different to squad with more mobile gameplay due to the MSP rather than FOB system, but I think it plays a bit better. Getting a good headshot on someone from a few hundred meters with the iron sights is also quite fun.
Grab it and give it a go, refund before 2 hours/2weeks if its not your thing.
Cheers, grabbed it. For $10 it's worth a shot, doubt I'm going to get a good feel for the game within the two hour refund window.
Interesting, no wonder it's on sale for so much lower compared to Squad.
Unfortunately it's a dead game at this point, Hell Let Loose is the popular alternative.
