if you plan on using this with a home-theare setup, you are better of spending $30 and getting something that supports activities

Good. Just remember these only do one programmable activity. Better to get Locitech harmony 650 that can handle up to 5 activities and LCD to add all the additional buttons that won't fit on the Harmony 300. If you have multiple devies or HTPC.

Still some 300i in my local Aldi as of last night for $9.95
Work great for a basic PVR/DVD-TV setup, but as stated, lack the 'activities' of a better model.
Better to spend the extra for the better 650 for $30 delivered.
