I might be missing something here but can someone please explain how you get the $40 cashback? The link to the MS cashback page states that it's 20% cashback. So 20% of $138 is $27.60 which equals $110.40. How do you get the $40 cashback to make the $98? Even the DSE site says $40 back on the banner?
Microsoft are giving you $40 cashback on a kinect (which is 20% of the RRP of $199 on the kinect), regardless of what you actually pay for it.
DSE have it on sale for $138, which is a $60 saving off of their normal price.
You buy the kinect from DSE for $138, then apply for the $40 cashback via the Microsoft website, making it $98
