Best 55” TV for in-Laws (under $500)

Hi everyone,

We’re looking at getting the in-laws a new TV for Xmas.
They currently have a 32” LCD, so we are thinking something in the 55” category.

I know I’m probably pushing my luck, but I was wondering if anyone can recommend a Black Friday bargain, or have had any luck with the TVs from Big W?

    If 60" is alright, might as well make it an Aldi so it's a painless return within 60 days if it doesn't tickle their fancy

    Surely $500 is too much to spend on in-laws.

    Council pick up + $2 bottle of Spray and wipe is commensurate to their valued contribution.
