First time poster, long time stalker.

I've been watching the 1TB Seagate Storage Expansion Card for Xbox Series X for awhile and a little disappointed with the 10% off as it's not the cheapest price its been.

Same price on the AU eBay website with no codes I'm aware of.

  • Worth mentioning this is the 1TB version.

      Updated! Thanks

    • There is another version?

Yeh - 512GB/1TB/2TB all of which are grossly overpriced.

M$ continues on their journey to sell hardware at a loss and profit big time from software and accessories I guess.

        • Ahh, wasn't aware they released more. I just need another 10,000 telstra points for the 1TB.

          • +1

@Davbar24: Benefit is just in case you weren't aware, that unlike any external option they make full use of the hardware capability as per the internal storage so that's the upside.

Might be cool for others if you throw up a link for the Telstra redeem page of that item mate:)

            • @StinkyMcFartypants: Yeah already got a 2tb external drive that doesn't run series x games. I'll wait until I get mine before posting a link haha (always goes out of stock).

              • +1

@Davbar24: Yep just found it - 120000 points and currently OOS

                • @StinkyMcFartypants: Was in stock again a few days ago, it will come back up.

                  • +1

@Davbar24: Will have to buy 7 new iphones to get the points!

                    • @StinkyMcFartypants: Haha yeah the bonus points from my series x helped! Currently just over 110,000

                      • @Davbar24: Nice … I ordered yday and got a text saying my series x will be here in a couple of days and I want another controller for 30000 points.

Telstra indicates it can take 10 days for points to appear on your account but very interested to know how many points you got and if you received them all in a block or have been receiving them monthly?

Apologies for getting slighly off topic here folks

                        • @StinkyMcFartypants: Mostly monthly but 30,000 for xbox pre-order, telstra locator discontinued 20,000 another 10,000 for bonus points offer ending not to mention 2,500 for vaccination. Adds up after a while.

                          • @Davbar24: Hmmmm. Wondering if I'll be scoring some sort of points jackpot as mine wasn't pre-order I guess.

Ah well, time will tell but that extra controller would be nice for "free" - currently sitting on 23000 points and was getting 700 per bill prior to ordering the xsx yday.

  • At this price, you can obviously run the most recent games on this hard drive, right?

Hopefully they bring out some kind of adaptor so we can use our own nvme m.2 drives

    • Hah! and allow us to spend half the money for the same thing? I wish..

    • +1

Trying again with a nicer link.

There's an adaptor out already, but only compatible with a certain drive. Hopefully more options in the near future.

(I'm clearly having trouble today, this is my third attempt at replying)

      • Seems like pretty much impossible to get the compatible hard drive.

  • At these prices (almost half the price of a new XBOX; if you manage to get one) I rather stick with my external drive only keeping my currently/most played games on the internal drive.

It's about $300-400 per TB for Xbox and ps5.

Just picked this up from Officeworks, I enquired if they would price match the current Microsoft offer of $314.40, see https://t.ly/XiTb and through their price beat guarantee, took another 5% to sweet price at $298.40!

  • Good timing to use the Xbox gift card which nearly 33% off last time. Plus the ShopBack challenge for another $20 save and tiny cashback.
