My partner and I don’t have a TV. We want to get a projector for watching films and occasional gaming from the comfort of our bed. Ideally the “screen” will be our bedroom ceiling/wall. We are renting, so wall installation is out of question.
Has anyone seen a good deal for a budget full HD projector that fits the description?
side note, anyone have ideas for projecting onto a shed that's 3m high x however wide we want?
What's the distance between where the projector will be and the wall? And will it be able to be straight on? Most projectors in this price range won't have horizontal keystone correction.
Also probably won't be bright enough to use during the day, although cheap LED projectors are getting better these days.
The distance won’t more than 3m I would say. I haven’t figured out where to place the projector but it will be likely on top of the bedside table. Bedroom has blockout blind and we won’t use it during the day anyway so brightness can be forgiving.
I got the Blitzwolf VP6 earlier this year for $230 and it's been great. I project it onto a wall either in the bedroom or the living room. Haven't tried the ceiling as they are pressed plaster.
