These were a deal at HN a few days ago.
I got Miopocket working but its not perfect.

For starters I can't run the GPS software :) (Running SmartST_CE.exe from 'My Flash Disk\Program Files\Navman\SmartST_CE\' just launches Miopocket again.)
Update: I changed 2 things and now SmartST_CE.exewill run. I update to the latest version and I moved MioAutoRun.exe, MioAutoRun.mscr and MortScript.exe out of the root of the sd card.
Here are the steps I took. I believe it's safe and reversible but do this at your own risk.
You can download MioPocket from http://netfresco.com/MioPocket/
- Make a copy of the Navman file contents. (Miopocket says it doesnt modify them but just to be sure.)
- Get a micro SD card. I used a FAT formatted Kingston 2GB. (FAT32 should work)
- Copy contents of 'MioPocket 4.0 Release 68' to root of SD.
- Make a folder called 'TATA2_3500'.
- Copy MioAutoRun.exe, MioAutoRun.mscr and MortScript.exe to that folder and rename MioAutoRun.exe to Auto.exe and MioAutoRun.mscr to Auto.mscr.
- Insert SD card into running Navman.
- If everything is working you should get an option "Run Miopocket". Run it.
- It installs, then tries to reboot but freezes.
- Reset the GPS again. you should get an option "Run Miopocket". Run it.
- It installs, then tries to reboot but should continue!
- It should go to a disclaimer but don't hit 'Accept'. It should load Miopocket a couple of seconds later.
To get back to normal, just switch to 'reset', remove sd and power up again.
If you rename the 'TATA2_3500' to 'TATA2_3500.out' or something like that using CE Explorer on the device then you can run the GPS software, including the 'MioMap' shortcut but if you accidentally reset the device you'll need to rename the folder back on a PC.
