I have a CBA Amex mastercard and have rewards to spend, trouble is I can never decide what is worth getting with my rewards. Has anyone found a way to get a better deal or has anyone worked out the best way to use these points. Any advice would be great, thanks

i just do cashback
vouchers offer more value for money than cashback but i guess it comes down to if you will actually use/need the vouchers.
Coles or Woolies…everybody needs food.
Pre-paid mastercards + eBay = win :)
But vouchers might be better value if you're shopping there anyway. Been a while since I looked.
Love the prepaid mastercard - bought the nesspreso from it! Love it .
cash back is the best.
put this code: mybonus101 for 10% more
cheersEasiest way to work out value for anything follow these steps:
1). Points divide by dollar value = points needed per dollar of reward = the lower the better as you need to spend less to get it. Normally the prepaid gift cards are the way to go.
2). If it is an item that you need use OzBargain to see the "real" price of the item and then compare to see if the gift card provides better value.
That is it… simple mathematical way to work out value, I am sure you all know that though :)
Please correct me if I am wrong but the last time I did this it was worth me more to convert my points to Prepaid cards than it was for cashback, vouchers (only because they lock me into using them at an overpriced store) and actual goods.
thanks guys, I will process this info cheers:)
