Is it eligible? Can't find it in the terms and conditions.
Can't speak to whether it will track or not (and am actually interested in the responses), but T&Cs definitely say no.
Purchases made through Lenovo's student store, staff discounts, corporate deals, and negotiated offers (phone/email/chat) are ineligible for cashback.
(That is from cash rewards here but shopback has something similar.)

Sorry to revive an ancient thread but did you ever find any more information on this topic?
Can't speak for all merchants but Microsoft online store.
Bought Microsoft Surface Laptop in May this year, used my student login to access special discount, and was able to track cashback without hassle with Cashrewards.
