  RRP for wines that aren't widely available in store, if at all, look like complete bullshit. This is more ad than bargain.

    hi Dealymcdealface. That's an interesting point that you raise and you are right, I'm sure that can and does happen. However, I think you might misunderstand the nature of our business.

    So, we make around 0.5m bottles of wine each year - that puts us at the top end of a small winery, low end of medium sized, depending where you want to cut the number.

    The wines from each range are distributed in SA, WA, NSW, VIC, TAS & QLD. Some of the wines are listed in Dan's, Langtons and Dan's marketplace - all part of Australia's largest liquor distributor, Endevour Group. Cellarmasters, Wine Selectors, Qantas and more, you get the drift :-)

    Not only are they distributed domestically, they are distributed internationally into around fifteen different markets - Costco have just bought 110,000 bottles of the Lakeside Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 for example.     Sure the wines are not as ubiquitous as say Pepperjack, St Hallett or our family's old business, Hardys but that's also not a space we wish to play in.

    The RRPs, therefore, have to competitive and comparable to similar priced wines in the market.

    If you're in doubt, refer to third party critics - we recently had a 99 from James Halliday and have had around 200+ wines score 90 or more over the years or checkout scores on Vivino. circa 3.7+ ranks as a good score.

  Reckon Dealy McDeal face would enjoy his day more at home or like me at the cellar door drinking one than complaining about one they haven't touched

  2021 the best year you'll ever have buying wine. If you could only afford one bottle a week previously you could easily afford a carton of quality wine every month. Some for now some for later
