Common trailer or boat trailer?
regular trailer. The issue with insurance and retrofitting isn't really an issue. The manufacturer of the trailer is local, so could fit them for us.
Vehicle lighting is subject to Australian Standards. It is highly unlikely that no-name LED lamps will meet the standards, and retrofit bulbs certainly will not.
You need to speak with your insurance company to find out if that matters or not.
