Microsoft Security Essentials, do a search and load it onto your machine. It is free, and works a treat without having to advertise its presence to you every five minutes.
My honest advice would be to look for a different/ free alternative, there is plenty of software out there that will perform just as well as Norton. I've had nothing but bad experiences with Norton, such as it slowing the computer down, and one instance with 360v4 completely disabling all access to internet except though internet explorer. Program became non functional and I had to use Norton Removal Tool to remove, which took 20min to open the file and a further hour or so to remove the program. I like Avira anti-virus suite personally, but there are a whole range of others including Comodo and AVG that will also do the job.

You can find a heap of reviews of free software with a simple google search.
If you've really got your heart set on Norton, you probably won't find it much cheaper than $40, say from here http://www.umart.com.au/newindex28.phtml?id=10&bid=2&sid=807…
Also a few good prices on ebay if you're willing to look there.
