  like the other bargain posts probably already said (I haven't read)

  decent for the price (if somewhat outdated asetek design), but is very much a choice between performance or noise, as their CLC range are VERY loud at max fan speed

    Yep good temps but the fans are LOUD. I replaced mine with Arctic fans and they're quiet and cool much better.

    Did you try turning them down?

    Gamers Nexus ranks the 280mm as slightly better than NZXT X62 for the same noise level. It seems like a pretty good AIO at this price.

    It sounds like people are running them at maximum rather then lowering RPM.

      a lot of their performance is from the high fan speeds

      at lower RPM, not that much different from other slim rads - to the point where an Arctic Freezer II on sale is attractive (thicker rad and nice fans)

      EDIT: but yeah, for $99 delivered, this is a great deal - those with a CPU that needs a 360 rad likely can afford some high SP fans, otherwise lower wattage loads can easily have lower fan speeds for quiet running

    Yep extremely loud for an aio, my friend replaced the fans on his and it was only cooling a 5600x.

  I have leftover arctic pwm fans from that series of Amazon deals a while back, would they make a decent swap for the fans on this unit?

  Edit - sounds like static pressure fans may be the go.
