Anyone here have trouble claiming a cashback offer regarding Canon's camera cashback? I bought a brand new Canon R6 body fulfiled and delivered by Amazon directly.
I filled out the claim form like normal, then they replied to me saying that the tax invoice provided by Amazon doesn't confirm that payment has been made in full. It's normal for standard Amazon tax invoice not to show the payment method.
I also sent them the printable order summary which shows the payment method (Zip Money).
They still replied back rejecting the claim as they're not satisfied it's been paid in full.
I replied back with the usual ACCC/Consumer Affairs threats but they just gave a generic reply.
I called Consumer Affairs and spoke to a rep who said to try one more time, if they don't budge, then to try VCAT.
Amy I missing something here? Is there another type of Amazon invoice that I should be uploading? I can only see the usual tax invoice and the printable order summary. And Canon isn't satisfied with either.
These 2 sentences are not the same thing. They're looking for a full payment invoice. I've never used Zip but does neither of the PDFs in your Amazon Orders history show the full purchased amount?
Check the cashback T&Cs as well to see if this is a stipulated clause.
