Yeah i think its glue and something else but just easier to buy a kit or premade ones
Takes about 5 mins to make and it's made of borax, PVA and a squirt if dish soap. All very cheap or in the house already.
Trust me, buy the raw materials and make it with her. She will be just as wrapped with making it as playing with it.

just go to Kmart/Target and they have sections of it. I know the ones in Target are next to the books usually, where the birthday cards are
My kids got in to a slime phase during the lockdown. It's actually really easy to make and part of the fun for the kids. As battler said, a quick google search will give you heaps of different recipes. My kids' favourite was using a glow in the dark Elmers glue!
Probably cheaper and part of the fun to DIY, materials to make it are quite common.
Plenty of it in Canberra, might be able to get a bargain there.
