Free 3 Months Amazon Prime or $15 Amazon Gift Card for World and World Elite MasterCard Cardholders @ MasterCard

5433

New-to Amazon Prime (including trial) customers will enjoy 3 months (90 day) membership. Existing Amazon Prime (non-trial) customers will receive a AUD15 Amazon gift card directly into your Amazon wallet.

The exact same as this deal but now non-CommBank Mastercard holders can try and their luck. I was able to successfully get a $15 Amazon gift card. Note that some Platinum cards are actually World Mastercards.
.
Update: If you don't have an eligible card, follow this comment thread for an easy loophole method. Full credit to doweyy

Once you are successful, to get $15 Amazon credit click "Sign in" as shown here. It will only add a $15 gift card to your account if you already have an active paid for Prime membership on that account. Trial Prime membership won't work - It will be replaced by 3 months membership.

Update 23/11: Up and working again for eligible MasterCard holders.

I was tempted to use the card generator but it just doesn't sit right with me for whatever reason

Will just pay for prime for Black Friday later on

    • What about multinational tax avoidance and profit shifting which is ripping money out of our public services?

I bet you're paying a much higher rate of tax than Jeff Bezos. You worry about your little $15 while others keep their billions

      • +2

I mean…I don't think by saying this particular "workaround" doesn't sit right with them that @freoleo is endorsing what old mate Bezo's is doing…

      • It was more about using fake card details AKA possible fraud, not the amount I was taking off of Amazon/Mastercard

  • Pro tip you can delete the phone number from your existing account and sign up again using your mobile number.

  • i was going to scroll right past this post thinking i wasn't eligible. glad i clicked and read about the random card number trick. just finger-mashed some numbers and got approved right away. losing a bit of sleep was worth it :D

  • Working for me here in NZ thanks to the number generator. Thanks all.

    • Can you pm me a number? they all seem to be use. thanks to you or anyone in advance :)

Nothing like a good old site sanctioned fraud and utter

  • i got no $15 but got free trial

    • Same here, did they run out of that?

you get one or another not both

Both OP and Doweyy are Legeeeeends!!!

  • Got $15. Thanks OP and Doweyy.

  • I wonder who or what was determined to be 'eligible' legitimately..

Anyway thanks to all the peeps in here about the generator workaround.
    Free $15 is free $15 :D

  • Can somewhere share new list of card numbers we can use. Tried few in the last and seems like all used up?

      • Great. Now I am stuck on next step where it is asking for CC details to add $15. I gave my cc details and it came with error.
This card does not qualify for this offer.
Please re-enter the qualifying Mastercard details to get $15 Gift card

        • Use the same one that you entered earlier

  • +1

What’s the point of people using multiple accounts to get this offer when it gets activated straight away to use (assuming you are coming on as a new Amazon prime customer)?

I did this with my main Amazon account to get the free trial yes but why would I want more (or create new) accounts when I’ll just be using it with my main Amazon account?

    Something went wrong

The Benefit cannot be redeemed as all Amazon Prime memberships have been claimed.

  • Seems to be all gone

Got free trial - HOW DO I CANCEL THIS PRIME?? Usual way doesn’t work , saying prime membership is managed by MasterCard partner

The one day that I don’t check OzB the moment I wake up :(

I only got 1 month Prime.

    • Is it changing to 1 month for everyone? one of mines show 'Partner billed' with no date…

  • Damnit I saw this couple hours earlier. I didn't think they would run out of codes so quick!

    • +1

I saw it at 5am when I checked ozbargain after waking up an going to the toilet for a piss. Decided to claim it before majority wakes up because I knew it would go out of stock fast. I was right, all gone just after 7am.

      • yes i woke up by chance at 6am and jumped onto ozb and saw this, had to act quick lol

  • +10

Why do I have a feeling that some of you have committed an act of fraud? In my opinion, there’s a big difference between taking advantage of a coupon code versus using fake credit card details to obtain a service/benefit.

    Time will tell, I guess.

    • +13

Why all the neg votes? Mastercard has a database of all of the cards on issue and if they send all the card number with bin 554584 to HSBC to verify a lot of people would used randomly generated card number could find their Amazon account blocked for using a fraudulent credit card number.

As a general rule, using randomly generated credit card number is a fraudulent activity no matter where it is used.

      • -2

It's their mistake. If amazon blocked cards for 15$ they would be losing on a lot of future profits and customer goodwill.

        Unfortunately i missed on this

      • Now you tell them .
I don't return anything to AMZ for fear of getting kicked out .
Hence no way I would do this play .
        I'm a good boy :)

You're the same person that was over anxious about a Telstra Plus pricing error back in the day that you contacted Telstra and got it ruined for everyone if I remember correctly ;). I can only assume you've shot an email to Amazon to give them a heads up and we're all going to gaol

      • -2

Yeah, that’s what I did. I also contact the police too (being sarcastic)…grow up dude.

Careful with your accusation/s there on a public forum.

        • +1

Or…you'll go to the police? ;)

          • -6

@MBix: I support freedom of speech, but there’s a fine line to it crossing over as defamation, especially on a public forum. I’ll leave it as that.

Just for your info - I let it slide last time.

            • @[Deactivated]: I will happily donate to your GoFundMe for your case against me xoxo

Damages paid out in internet points too?

            • @[Deactivated]: oh really…legal threats? do please tell us how you suffered financial and/or damage to your reputation from the Telstra Plus incident? you posted some pretty trollish and inflammatory remarks in that thread, making yourself open to "defamation" proceedings…but i'm sure those members "let it slide" too lol

              • +1

@tdw: I know I haven't been the same since being called a sheep and naive!

                • @MBix: you should demand [legal] satisfaction!

                    [legal]

Lucky you included that … could be in serious trouble if I were to infer other satisfaction was available…

          • +3

@MBix: Oh man, busted for real, just finished a 4 hour interogation about fake mastercard numbers. Im out on bail.

            • +2

@easternculture: Did they accept $15 Amazon Credit for your bail?

              • @MBix: They demanded 3 months free amazon prime, then they signed in to prime on the smart tv in the waiting room

  • +13

Pretty shitty to see ozbargain so open to fraud. And thanks for dogging us genuine MasterCard users out of the free Prime

    • +11

I think the original post is ok to notify those who are genuinely eligible due to a card they hold but once the card number generator is out it is no longer about bargain but fraud

  • +5

Chose not to do it, other than my legit MasterCard (which didn't work)

    • My legit MC worked but glad didn't go through with it as no way to cancel, I get 12 months of prime trial every year anyway

      • 12 months? :o So, you have 12 amazon accounts or is it some other process?

        • +1

6 accounts, each get 2 months free trial using the well known trick.

  • Missed out Oooops !!

    • working again :)

  • similar with card generator - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/661689

still working it seems. no offence to any MC holders, but looks like Amazon is running this across lot of card types.

    • Does it stack with this offer though

      • Tried different cards but didn't work

Which card number to use via generator?

        • for me worked with BIN 552350 generator

      • Don't think works with stacking

    • Amazon.com and its affiliates are not sponsors of this promotion

      Funded by Mastercard…

      • +1

Not for me, it is funded by me (card annual fee). I'd rather no annual fee than 3 months Prime, but I guess it is better than nothing.

  • -1

wow its great to see so many cheap asses with morales, during tough times its quite hard for common folk to realise the difference between fraud and just trying to make enough for the next meal.
supplying fake card numbers is fraud no matter how evil the company your stealing it from is.
altho im not sure if I would say no to doing this in the future, the line is so thin. hmmm

The only way to cancel the trial after 3 months is through live chat. Confirmed with them today. You will get 1 week notice before the trial expires.

    • Will we get charged after 3 mnths? And if we cancel now do we still get prime until 3 months elaspe.

    • Oh nice to know, just chatted with amazon but they couldn't help, instead asking me to contact mastercard directly to cancel.
Will wait for the last week of the 3 months trial, lets hope the live chat is correct.

    • Is that via amazon live chat?

      • +1

They now backflipped and said only MasterCard can cancel. Annoying if have to get a new card…

  • Despite going through the process and saw a screen that shows the expiration date suppose to be some time in Feb 2022, when I looked at Prime membership details (Your Membership and Subscriptions link), it is showing only 1 month.

    • +2

Auto renews monthly, same as the Optus hub deal

  • This is now up and working again!

    • Doesnt work with my CBA Mastercard, how do you generate the Bin etc?

Keeps saying card was declined when using bin generator (probably because using incorrect expiry date

  • Got it with my Westpac Black, but not for others including the BIN generator. Looks like they have blocked it ?

  • +2

The Benefit cannot be redeemed as all Amazon Prime memberships have been claimed.

  • Attempted Wednesday 24-November approx. 12:15AM AEDT:
    1) Qantas Premier Platinum - Not Eligible.
    2) Citibank Australia Rewards (formerly known as Platinum) - Eligible. Successfully applied $15 credit to Amazon account

    Cba ultimate

  • +5

No love for me, none of my cards worked and random codes didn't work either

  • Nope no cards work

  • Westpac black, giving me an error:

The Benefit cannot be redeemed as all Amazon Prime memberships have been claimed.

  • Doesn’t work on my Mastercard

  • Works for HSBC World Mastercard

  • Just worked for 2 of my mastercard CCs. But i could apply only one to my account. When I try to apply the second one it says 'Already benefit applied to this account'. Thanks OP.

    • If you have a friend/family member that also pays for prime you can give them the other $15 benefit

  • Saw this in my CBA app. Tried 2 days ago and said all had been claimed.
All my offers then disappeared but reappeared today and this was back so gave it another shot and worked.

Looks like they are auth'ing the cards now, I had to unlock online international payments so the auth would go through (gen'd CC's unlikely to work anymore).
