My kids love this app! It's a fantastic interactive way to learn an instrument. This only goes on sale like this once a year.

Enjoy!

  • Damn it nice. Mine renewed 3 months ago :/

    • Ours expired about 3 months ago so we waited till this sale to renew again.

I’ll be doing that next year too

  • Can any electric guitarist vouch for Yousician? I'm also looking at Fender Play.

    Absolute beginner.

It’s great for absolute beginners, works well with electric bass

Cant say much for Yousician but Fender Play has been pretty good for me (bass)

  • Similar question as @juiciness but for piano.

We have a digital piano that the kids used to use but no longer do since stopping lessons. I fancy giving it a go as an almost 50 year old bloke if I can find something suitable as an aid.

    • Also would like some feedback on piano if anyone has used it before (I know nothing apart from music lessons in school about 15-20 years ago)

      • I was wondering the same thing. I've never had a piano lesson in my life, but I play synth/organ in a band.

I'm 53. I normally play guitar, but our area is full of guitarists. Might be good for when I have time off work.

Is there a similar option for violin?

    • JV was wondering if they did bagpipes? ;)

Billed AUD99.99 for the first year

    • Definitely AUD and not USD.

  • its showing 89.99 for me.

  • +1

Yep can confirm I was billed $89.99! Thanks OP!

  • It shows $99.99 for me.
How did you get $89? :)

    • Maybe they paid in US dollars. It's also on sale for 89.99USD….

      • If they paid $89.99USD that would be far more expensive than $99.99AUD??

        • A lot more. Unless they got a coupon they didn't mention…why would everyone else be getting 99…..

          • +1

@The Value: US price is $69.99
I don't know if there is a card with such exchange rate to convert it to $89.99 AUD

  • Got it for AUD$89.99 using the following steps. Not sure if it will work for others but it may be worth a try.

    • Originally it was showing for AUD$99.99
    • I then used my VPN to change to US. It then showed at US$69.99
    • I then removed VPN and refreshed the page.
    • It then appeared as AUD$89.99.
    • Nice hack! Well done on getting it cheaper.

    • Interesting.
This is exactly how I was checking US price. But it jumps back to $99.99 when I disconnect.

Just tried again with 3 different browsers - can't get $89.99, always goes back to $99.99 on refresh.

I don't have an account and I am not logged in.

      • I didn't have an account. Registered an account, logged out, then logged back in. Voila, $89.99!

        • Haha, that might be the difference.

We need exact sequence to reproduce this. :)

  • After learning what guitar tabs are, I can say Yousician is way better than Rocksmith. In Rocksmith it feels like you are just mirroring the on screen prompts, why Yousician is like you're actually learning and playing the music.

This is from an ABSOLUTE beginner.

  • It says $89 on my laptop and $99 on my phone. How weird!

    • Oh, I need to try all devices then…

Just got the family one for $134.99

    Thanks OP

    • Family is $149.99 for me

      • wonder why it's coming up with different prices? just to be sure, i checked the transaction and it definitely is $134.99AUD

        weird

        • What steps did you follow?
Did you have an account or created an account on signup?
          What device did you use?

I tried all my devices (iPhone, iPad, MacBook, Windows PC) , I tried VPN on/off - always the same price for me - $149.99 and $99.99

Might be the location since they are trying to automatically present local currency - I am in Sydney.

  • Deal still active $89
